Super simple homemade Sloppy Joe's. I can't really think of a better all-American dinner, these are just health'd-up a notch from your standard 'Manwich', but very much worth the extra couple minutes.
1 lb ground Venison
1 Onion diced
1 Pepper (green, red, yellow, orange, purple, whatever you desire) diced
2 Garlic cloves minced (or 1 heaping tsp jarred minced Garlic)
1 can Tomato Sauce (usually around 15 oz)
1 Tbs Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin
Heat some oil in a skillet over Med/High heat. Add your onion, pepper, and garlic and cook until they're tender, around 8-10 minutes usually. Add the meat and cook until brown. Add sauce and spices and cook for another couple minutes until hot and all combined.
