I can't remember the last time I ate that sugar laden red goo from a bottle. Once I found this recipe for the easiest and most delicious homemade ketchup in the world I never looked back. Best part is, it literally takes five minutes to make.
1 can Tomato Paste (usually 6-7oz)
2 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbs Honey
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Onion Powder
1/8 tsp Allspice
1/8 tsp ground cloves
Whisk everything together.
Add water a little bit at a time until you reach a consistency you like. (I usually add a little less than 1/2 cup.)
Keep refrigerated, will last a couple weeks.
